Panel 4 (Imogen, in the foreground, looking to the other side of the alley to see Jacqueline, the ‘mean mom’ from waaaaay back in the first chapter. Jackie, and her little dog, both look shocked.)
Jacquiline, mind your buisness, and no one will tell you what your potato salad really tastes like.
I choose to believe the dog is voicing their support.
“YEAH, FUCK HIM! BORK BORK!”
The hearts in the window look like they’re decorating the conversation in the first panel. I’m sure that’s entirely coincidence. 🙂
Are the little hears in a window, or coming off of adorable cartoony Alex? I don’t really want to know either way 😀
