Chapter: Chapter 16: Family Life
PLEASE FORGIVE THE CARDINAL SIN OF CHRISTMAS-RELATED THINGS IN JANUARY; I knew not what I did when I planned this out. Ah, well, a little more cheer in the dreary part of the year.

TRANSCRIPT
(textless, as are most pages of this chapter; Alex and Eiji are slumped on the couch watching Imogen open Christmas presents with her children. Eiji nudges Alex and gestures to the mantel, where the somber photo of their late parents has been decorated for Christmas and looks out over the proceedings.)
Honestly, I do not mind some Christmas in January when it’s this goddamn cute. And heyyyyy, Eiji!
Eiji!! omg, what a difference a year makes. I love all the closure we’re getting in this arc, it’s so earned.
Spanish people got this thing right: while the Christmas Eve dinner is a nice family gathering, they’ve extended the festivities to 6th of July. You get your presents then, because it’s the Three Kings who bring presents.
6th of *January*, 12th night. 😉 The 12 days of Christmas START on the 25th!
It’s nice to see Eiji with the family 💜
Eh, Orthodox Xmas is on the 7th of January, and in my region, there’s a “Little Xmas” on the 14th, too. You’re fine! Also no I totally didn’t *only now* notice I needn’t register to comment 😅
