Panels 1+2 (textless; Imogen enters the password, then leans in to peer at the screen in surprise)
Panel 3 (a close-up of the computer screen, the text of which reads:)
on screen: Welcome back, Jonathan! Your most recent login was from an unknown location. Please check your account status for unusual activity and change your password if you don’t recognize… [text cuts off]
Panel 4 (textless; Imogen sits back and considers the screen with a worried look)
He either ignored the message, didn’t know it existed, or assumed she would assume the account was hacked.
You get this message any times the cookies are cleared.
You *do* clear your cookies right? Right?
LITERALLY A CRACK IN THE CEILING AHHHHH I love it
And now we see the literal cracks in the home-life… Oh my…
I’m assuming this is the computer he generally uses for banking?
Oh dear, what’s going on? I’m so eager to know but more than anything I’m eager for Imogen to know
Or when you login from your work PC to change a password for your account.
What a great excuse to show why your bank account is empty,
“Oh no! An unknown location! Clearly someone has hacked me”- nevermind that this was triggered by him using his phone… wherever he is right now
No two-factor authentication? What kind of crappy bank is this?
ugh…this guy. bad feelings all around. as others have commented, i like the FAMILY looming ominously over her. and i love the detail of the crack in the ceiling
It’s plausible that she’s seeing that message because the previous session on her account was Jonathan logging in just now from his phone (to change the password, possibly hide other things). If he logged in from his phone, he would have logged in from a different location and network (mobile ISP) than the location and network (landline ISP) that he usually logs in from (and she is logging in from now).
