Imogen: I’m so sorry. I’ll replace the shoes when I can.
Alex: It’s fine, really. Shoes like that are meant to be repaired.
Weren’t they, like, getting ready to go somewhere? Or just picking out outfits for later?
Alex was gonna give a performance, and Imogen was going as her guest – I am guessing that concert’s not tonight, or Alex could not be nearly that chill!

Those sweet expressions in panels four and five – so expressive.
The “Later” and expressions does give me the thought this was a productive talk.
